What are your initial thoughts about the concept of Literacy with ICT (LwICT)? We need to continue what was started in K-8. I don't believe having high school teachers report on the literacy is productive use of time for the teacher or the student. I think the energy and resources should go to helping teachers get on board with the actual infusion of technology which in reality is helping them change the way they teach so that they can engage all students and subsequently have more students learn the intended outcomes.

What implementation barriers for LwICT do you foresee at Senior Years? We need to have teachers who understand infusion mentor their fellow teachers. This takes some time and money.

What opportunities does LwICT present for Senior Years? We need to give all students the opportunity to learn in a technology infused environment. This is critical for their future success.

What professional learning is required initially to prepare Senior Years teachers to begin to use the LwICT continuum? Teachers need to have some basic technology skills but more importantly strategies on how to infuse technology into their areas.
